Welcome Back Everyone!! We are looking forward to a wonderful year for the KCSO Comets!!
Parents and Guardians Please Note:
Existing and Returning Athletes and Families:
Registration for ALL existing and returning athletes IS MANDATORY.
We must receive your fully completed registration packet no later than the 28th of September.
If your athlete has not been registered by this time, they will be removed from our rosters and their information will
not be forwarded to our area coordinator for inclusion. They will be unable to participate in any events sponsored
by KCSO Comets during the 2010-2011 year. If you will be out of town, you are strongly encouraged to email or fax your
completed packets to us by the deadline of September 28th.
Registration packets will be emailed over the next couple of weeks. Upon the finalization of this
years' packet, they will also be uploaded in PDF form to our website, so please check back soon.
New Members:
New members can join at our Registration event on the 28th of September. You will receive
your registration packets and welcome information at this time for completion.
It is recommended that you review our "Membership Information" page and "Parents" page.
There is a lot of information posted that can serve to answer your questions.
You will also be attending a short "new member" introduction meeting at Registration on the 28th,
and assigned a family member contact to help you through your first year with the KCSO Comet family.

The Importance of Email Addresses:
KCSO Comets is moving towards a more environmentally friendly format with communications. All
of our communications to our athletes, families, friends and staff will be made via email. Alternatively, information
will be updated and posted to our website as frequently as needed. Mailings will be limited to our community contacts
only. In order for you to receive all of the information you need with regard to social and competative events taking
place this year, it is imperative that we have updated and current email addresses for you, If your athletes would like
their own individual mail, then we will need updated and current email addresses for them as well. Please ensure that
your email address(es) are clearly included on your registration materials so that we can update our database.
You are also encouraged to add our email address to your address book to ensure that we don't end up in
your junk or spam folders.
If your family does not have a computer with internet connection and you do not have a work email that can
be utilized, please clearly indicate this on your registration paperwork. This way we can ensure that you are called
by one of our volunteers to ensure you have all of the information you need on each event.
